This scenario means that students learn together in a shared virtual classroom over a continuous period of time. Ideally, it is 3 weeks or sessions or a little more.
The scenario assumes that the teaching time coincides. How can this be achieved?
- The time can happen to be identical
- One or more partners are flexible in arranging their timetables and can set their own teaching time
- One group of students shifts their teaching time to the partners’ teaching time for the duration of the micro-collaboration
- A common new teaching time is found for the time of the micro-collaboration
